Vintage Gruen

This vintage Gruen Precision Automatic (17 Jewels) is in excellent overall condition for its age and is fully running and keeping time. The silver sunburst dial and gold-tone cushion case give it a classic 1960’s or 1970s aesthetic that stands out on the wrist. Being an automatic Swiss-made movement, this model carries added collector appeal and value over manual-wind versions. It’s a reliable mid-century mechanical watch that blends vintage style with daily wear convenience — priced fairly for its condition and originality.

ostok Amphibia 2209, made in the USSR during the late 1960s–1970s. This is one of the early-generation Soviet dive watches that built Vostok’s legendary reputation for toughness and design. The watch features a beautiful green sunburst dial with unique crackled patina, original hands, and the classic cushion-shaped Amphibia case.

The manual-wind 18-jewel 2209 movement runs and sets properly. Accuracy and power reserve have not been tested for long-term precision, but it’s keeping time reasonably for its age. The crown screws down securely, and the acrylic crystal shows some scratches consistent with vintage wear. Bezel turns smoothly. Caseback is marked “WATERPROOF 200M – AMPHIBIAN – SHOCK-PROOF BALANCE.”
